Benefits of Massage after Auto Accident or other Injury

Reduces Pain and Inflammation
Increases Range of Motion and Flexibility
Speeds Recovery
Heals Emotional Trauma and Stress

The best way to avoid permanent injury is to get early treatment.

Car accidents and sports injuries often involve whiplash, soft tissue injury of the neck and back, myofascial pain, headaches, and much more.

Massage therapy is a body centered approach that can greatly reduce your overall pain, while at the same time helping your muscles and soft tissue heal faster. Hands on touch also increases awareness of the body structures and systems, which can discharges emotional trauma and stress held in the nervous system.

My focus is getting you back to your normal routine and health as soon as possible
. I work with your body, and within your comfort level, to speed healing and get you on the road to recovery.  Initially I use breath work and gentle soft tissue manipulation to remind the body's nervous system how to release tension naturally.  This triggers the body's healing response.  Follow up treatments address the points of tension created by posture and the mechanics of the accident.

Insurance can be confusing and overwhelming, even when we are feeling our best. Oregon law provides a Personal Injury Protection or PIP for all insured drivers. This means
that you can receive medical care for injuries associated with your car accident for up to 12 months after the date of the accident. With a Chiropractor or Medical Doctor referral I will bill your insurance company for you.
